(Note: This is the 2nd Part of a 3-part Review of halo 15)
The second disc of the single opens with a radio-edit version of We're In This Together which is two-minutes shorter than the album version that features a shorter intro and coda for the song while cutting the wailing guitar solo from the middle of the song. Next from The Day The World Went Away single is its (Quiet Version) with additional vocals from Kim Prevost. With its "na-na-na" vocals that play through with a group of female vocalists including Prevost, it is mainly a haunting, piano-driven version of the song with additional windy sounds in the background and dissonant guitar washes in the background. With a slow, thumping bass line in the coda portion of the track, it's mostly led by Reznor's elegant piano and an accompanying guitar.
The third and final track of the second disc is a remix of The Day The World Went Away from Porter Ricks that appeared in the vinyl version of its single. With a thumping, warbling rhythm and swirling vocal mixes, it's a fascinating remix of the song. Featuring soft, metallic-like beats in the background, it's accompanied by Reznor's whispering vocals along with soft, growling guitars in the background. With an ominous synthesizer track playing along in the background, it intensifies into one of the most fascinating remixes from the band's history.
