Webkinz:What is it?? The actual Webkinz is a stuffed animal. They come in many many varities. Horses, Cats, Dogs and Frogs, Lions and Tigers and Bears(oh my!). That is just a small sampling of what is available. Ther are actual 2 sizes of Webkinz; there is the original size called Webkinz and then a smaller version called Lil Kinz. The only difference is the smaller size and price. Speaking of price, the Webkinz are a hit everywhere so the prices vary. I have found then for $8.99 at a local gift shop, $9.99 at the local Hallmark store, $10.00 at the florst/greenhouse and $14.99 at the trendy gift shop at the mall. I have also checked out Ebay and found that people are gouging prices on there and some Webkinz are selling for over $40.00. This is ridiculous in my opinion. It is a toy after all and not a collector item.(off my soapbox).
The best part is the onnline fun! The Webkinz pages a have games, activites, rooms to build and furnish and all kinds of fun and educational things to do.
There have been amny many glitches in the web site recently. I hope they get thenm straiughtened out or the kids will get tired of the site not working properly!
