Pros: very comfortable, easy to put on, great natural looking color
Cons: they only last about 3 weeks a pair :(

For 29 years, I have HATED my dark brown eyes! Absolutely hated them!!! My father has beautiful blue eyes and I had always wished that I would have inherited those. No such luck. I had always wondered what I'd look like with blue or even yet, green eyes. I wonder no more.
Upon a recent visit to my optometrist for an eye exam, I was told that I would have to start wearing glasses. Yuck I thought~ I am just not the type of person to be seen with glasses on. Yes, call me vain if you will but it's just not me! Upon choosing a pair of glasses to wear (I told myself that I'd wear them at home only. LOL), I noticed a poster on the wall for colored contacts. Now those, I could do I thought to myself. In talking with the technician about whether or not I could wear these contacts, I happily found out that I, indeed could wear them. There wasn't a hesitation in my body when I immediately told her to order me a pair. Now, which color she asked. Oh geez, decisions, decisions. They all looked so great but I ended up choosing the green for now. The model in the pictures had dark brown eyes like me and she looked great with the green so I was hooked!
Unlike older contacts, these new FreshLook colors are made by using a dot matrix type of system to hide your natural color. It blends great with your natural eye color to give you a soft, subtle color change instead of those shocking bright, fake colored eyes that we use to see on people with colored contacts.
Upon picking up my contacts and trying them on, I didn't even realize that I had them in. They are a very comfortable lens to wear. The transformation of my eye color was amazing! I didn't believe that my dark brown, almost black eyes, could be transformed into such a wonderful green color. I have had numerous comments by people who seem to be staring straight into my eyes lately. I haven't had one yet ask me if they were "fake" which is what I was deathly affraid of. Who wants to be known as "fake"? LOL
The box that I ordered comes with three pairs of contacts. According to the technician, they're disposable lenses that can be worn for about three weeks or so and then thrown out. Hey, why not try a box of one color and then keep switching colors to fool your family and friends? You'll love them once you put them on!
