I just love the German roasted nuts you find at fairs and festivals. The commercial machine is thousands of dollars so I started looking for a home version and found this one. I had a stir crazy in the past and loved it, and was really only looking for that but ran across this one that will do nuts. I have had it for several weeks and have processed many varieties of nuts. Cashews, pecans, hazelnuts, almond, walnuts and peanuts. I only had a problem with the peanuts, but I think that can be corrected. All the other nuts came our great, every bit as good as any that you might pay super high prices for at a local fair or festival. Of course it works exceptionally well for popcorn too. I chose to use another recipe rather than pay for their packet spice mix.

I think the design in the future should include a detachable cord and also the cord could be a little longer. The clean up would be easier with detachable cord as well as the clean up. I would suggest to clean up the unit when it is still warm, the carmelized sugar will come of much easier when it is still warm.
