We own a timeshare at Flamingo Bay and I have to say, it's a great deal for us. It's off the strip so it's very relaxed, but it's close enough to get there easily (they even have shuttle buses to take you back and forth). The place is nice with a pool and other ammenities expected. We have a 2 bedroom place and it's plenty big for the family and even a guest or 2.

The staff is great. They arranged golfing for my husband and neighbor at Red Rock Canyon (gorgeous and a great course-from what they said) at a much lower rate than they would normally pay. Also show tickets for the rest of us. They also do various activities daily, but we've always been too busy to go to them.

I like the timeshare aspect for my family. There's 5 of us and I usually vacation with my sister and niece. So finding a place for all of us is difficult in ordinary hotels. We always have enough room and I like having a kitchen even if only for drinks, snack and breakfast (there are even grills around the grounds if you're so inclined). There is also a nice sports bar type restaurant right across the street. Really good rueben sandwich.
