| greenyboy411's Full Review: Westinghouse Electric LTV-32w6 HD 32 in. TV |
I picked up this TV on sale at Best Buy for $700. I was considering a 32" Samsung High Life, but found the differences between the two units negligable. When I got home and plugged in my Xbox 360 to my first HDTV, I was stunned. Beautiful clarity and rich color that I had never seen before appeared in front of my eyes. Then I realized my Xbox was set to 480p. When I adjusted my 360, the unit just got better, In comparrisson to the units I have seen in the shops, this blows all of them away. I get perfect TV signals and through my upconvert DVD player, ordinary DVDs look near High-Def. The overall ease of the unit was notable. The one problem I had was finding HD channels. For a while, I thought that if in the channel search menu, only SD broadcasts were found, it wasn't picking up the stations. However, the HD channels could be found simply by manually sifting through channels. The two grievences I have with the unit are quite small. First, it only has one HDMI port. I only have one HDMI device though, so that's okay. Second, the Picture in Picture does not work, so bummer, but no big deal. I would still highly recommend this TV to anyone interested in going High-Def.
