Pros: The color was great, while it lasted.
Cons: The trouble you have to go through for repairs is outrageous.
The Bottom Line: I would avoid purchasing any product from Westinghouse. All is great in the begining, but dealing with warranty issues is unrealistic. The out of pocket cost is unheard of. Beware

We purchased this LCD TV from Wal-Mart; it worked GREAT for 9 months. Turned it on one day and 30 seconds later, the screen went out, could hear the sound but no picture. Then it smelled like a burnt chemical smell coming from the TV. Unplugged the unit and called Westing House Customer Service.... Seems that the whole unit needs to be replaced, something faulty in the main parts. Well after going through the motions of faxing receipts, waiting 72 hours for them to issue a "RMA" number to authorize the return, waiting another 72 hours just to receive the e-mail containing the number. Called them to find out how to get the TV to them for repair/replacement... I have to PAY to pack it up at some place like Uhaul..And PAY to ship it myself. When I spoke with the customer service people, they would not even let me file a complaint about my out of pocket costs. I was told I could post comments anywhere I like. Their website has no place to give feedback. Be aware, it was a great price, but in the long run, I would have paid more for something that actually worked for longer than 9 months. I will no longer purchase any product from "Westinghouse" no matter how good the deal sounds at the time
