We purchased the Duet a few months ago, and here and there noticed holes in clothes we were pretty sure were not there before, as well as some tears on occasion in casual "Dockers" style pants.
I did not think to save the clothing, would just be sad it "somehow" came up with a hole I must have missed before loading the washer.
Now, it is painfully obvious it is the washer that is chomping holes in our clothing. T-shirts seem to get the worst holes, and yesterday the machine tore several small holes in brand new t-shirt I purchased as a gift for a friend. I was really disappointed, as it is a design that is not being made any longer, and I only washed it before gift wrapping as it had a slight odor picked up somewhere in shipping (I purchased it while on a road trip, and shipped it to my home).
In any case, the holes matched the other holes we have in found in our other ruined clothes, which finally made the light go on.
The smaller loads seem to get cleaner. If you try to do a "capacity" load, the clothes do not seem to get clean, and have to be rewashed.
Has anyone else had this problem?
