Pros: GREAT design MANY features for the $. Built in grinder-disposal = NO pre rinse! Quiet!
Cons: Some small plastic parts inside and on racks seem fragile. May not last.
The Bottom Line: Strongly recommended. This is the lowest cost model with EVERY possible high end feature.

All nylon rack materials will never peel and rust. One piece "unibody" tub system was very lightweight and easy to move into place. Silverware basket can be attached to door for more pot & pan space, or attached to lower rack as a standard system. Silverware basket has sections with covers for small items to keep them from blowing out into the wahser. Food disposal / grinder is built in. NO PRE RINSE NEEDED. Flip down "2 layer" section for coffee cups. Clips to hold lightweight plastic items and clips to hold items like long plastic serving pieces. Top rack can be reaised or lowered to meet individual needs. Whirlpool has OBVIOUSLY been listening to their customers. This model has everything you could ask for. Other notes: High temp sterilizing cycle available. Sensor wash cycle washes dishes until clean. Longer cycle for dirtier dishes, shorter cycle for cleaner dishes. Timer delay to wash while you sleep. The list goes on for quite a while. So far, this one has performed VERY well and to expectation. Some rack parts seem a bit fragile. I DID buy the 5 year warranty from HHGREGG for $99 based on other reviews here, and hope I don't need it. I would VERY highly recommend this as an upgrade for anyone moving from a "came with the house." The only advantage I could find for more expensive brands and models was the ability to add cabinet style doors to hide the device, controls on the INSIDE of the door etc... Just cosmetic differences. This one is the most feature rich for the money among all brands and models we searched.
