Pros: Wheels move easily & tub holds alot for a portable unit.
Cons: Hoses that fit on the faucet could be longer.
The Bottom Line: Definitely Recommend: Easy to use, compact, quality made, with a larger tub than most of its competition, and it works great ... I love it!

I've had my compact Whirlpool washer now for a year and a half and love it! The cycles are short (see below) compared to normal sized models which are usually 20-30 mts each but with the high price of electricity, and my decreased time at home, I don't mind that my clothes come out so clean in a shorter period of time.
-Heavy Duty Cycle: 16 mts wash time (heavily soiled)
-Normal Cycle: 12 mts wash time (normal dirt)
-Quick Wash Cycle: 6 mts wash time (lightly soiled)
-Delicate Cycle: 8 mts wash time (lingerie/loosely knit items)
Although it doesn't have all the fancy features of a normal size washer as the last writer laments, I'll take my portable over having to lug heavy clothes to the other side of my building, down the stairs to the basement, and back again with a bad back (it has enough and doesn't need fancy schmancy anyway).
If you stop the washer by opening the lid, the cycle will continue where it left off upon closing the lid. It will also continue if you turn the unit off but you have to play with the buttons a little.
This particular portable washer also has a larger tub capacity (14 lbs) than its competition (most up to 10 lbs), plus an easy to clean lint filter (I could make another cat with all the fur it collects from my clothes!!!).
This compact Whirlpool washer is 24" D x 35" H x 22-1/2" W, and plugs into any 120V three-prong outlet. Normal sized washers are 6-7" wider and higher.
My only issue is that the hose that connects at the back of the washer to the faucet could be a few feet longer.
Otherwise, I haven't had any problems with my unit at all.
