I always enjoy a good bargain. But sometimes, in the end, it just doesn't work out the way I'd hoped. Such was the case, when a sale plus a coupon convinced me to buy Whiskas Rotisserie Chicken Flavor in the individual bowls. In fact, I bought six of them. Well, four have since been donated to a friend with a cat who will actually eat them.
I felt confident giving this product a try, as my cat enjoys several other products from Whiskas. When I give him food from their packets, he's happy as can be. And their Temptations line of snacks are his favorites. So, I reasoned, why wouldn't he eat a chicken-flavored product, that comes in an individual bowl? I have no idea, but he simply won't touch it. I tried giving it to him on two different occasions, and both times he turned his nose at the food, and stuck with the dry food instead.
Personally, I like the convenience of these little square bowls. They're easy to store and easy to open. The 3.5 oz. size is convenient for a single meal for my cat, alongside a bowl of dry food. The food has a pâté-like consistency and a not-too-awful smell. I transfer it to another bowl, and it slides out easily, without requiring a utensil. It does come out in one mostly-solid square-shaped chunk, though. So for those animals who prefer their food be chopped up, a utensil would be needed to do the chopping. But my cat doesn't mind a solid chunk of food - that's not the problem. He simply doesn't like this flavor, for whatever reason.

I'm sorry my kitty won't eat this product. I like to give him lots of different varieties, and was hoping that these convenient packages would work out. Sadly, they did not. I don't know, at this point, if it's the flavor that's the problem, or the line, itself. I would be willing to try another flavor within this line, and I'll report back how that works out. For now, my recommendation is to give it a try, and see if your kitty likes it. But don't necessarily buy six at once, like I did.
