Cons: Not healthy in the least, may be hard to find
The Bottom Line: Ok... why is a candy bar listed under toys??? Anyways... if you come across a Willy Wonka Chocolate Bar, pick one up, you won't be disappointed!
jadzia66's Full Review: Willy Wonka Chocolate Bars: 18CT Box
My husband knows my love of chocolate and sometimes surprises me with my favorite candy bars or new ones when he sees them in the stores. Last week, he and my oldest daughter went to the video store to rent some movies and there they found a display of Willy Wonka Chocolate Bars along with other "movie theatre" type candy and he couldn't resist buying me one.
All About Willy Wonka Chocolate Bars
Willy Wonka Chocolate Bars are milk chocolate covered graham crackers. They are made in Brazil and distributed by Nestle, thus the information on the wrapper is in both English and probably Portuguese. Or maybe Spanish. I do know that the official language in Brazil is Portuguese, they may have made the second language on the wrapper Spanish as Portuguese is not a language that is common here in the US. As you can see, my ignorance is showing here and having taken Spanish in high school, one would think that I could differentiate between the two languages but, as you can see, I can not. Suffice it to say, it's one of the two.

Why I Recommend Willy Wonka Chocolate Bars
Willy Wonka Chocolate Bars and other Willy Wonka candy were made famous by the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, written by Roald Dahl. The book was later made into a movie staring Gene Wilder as the eccentric Willy Wonka and then later redone by one of my favorite actors, Johnny Depp. Regardless if you watched one of the movies or read the book then you know the importance of the Willy Wonka Chocolate Bar in the story.
Alas, my Willy Wonka Chocolate Bar didn't contain a golden ticket but I enjoyed it all the same. The chocolate was very good and seeing that it was made by Nestle, I'm not surprised. The graham crackers were also good although I have to say that I might not have realized exactly what type of crackers they were had I not read the information on the package. Regardless, the combination works well together and that is hardly surprising either considering all you need to add is marshmallow and you would have yourself a smores.
The con to the Willy Wonka Chocolate Bar is obvious of course. It's a candy bar and therefore not nutritious in the least but I figure most people know that when they decide to purchase a chocolate bar instead of something like a Nutrigrain bar. It's good to indulge once in a while and I found it rather amusing to eat a chocolate bar that was a prominent feature in one of my favorite books. The fact that it tasted so good was also a plus!
I don't know how readily available Willy Wonka Chocolate Bars are in your neck of the woods. In mine, you can't find them in any of our local stores. The fact that my husband stumbled upon them at a video store was a fluke but I'm definitely going to have him buy more the next time he's there.
