I recently purchased a can of three Wilson Tennis Balls at my local sporting goods for $2.69 and I am quite satiated with their strong quality and value. I have played about five times tennis with them and am really impressed with their durability as I have not noticed a change thus far in their condition. This is despite the fact that I have played a couple of very long rounds with them. There is certainly a good bounce to them, quite consistent, which is vital when playing tennis. Also, the Wilson tennis ball has a hard cover which allows the person a strong groundstroke when attacking the ball, a very powerful stroke. I play tennis as a tool for stress relief and these Wilson balls provide the proper avenue for a powerful shot.
There is a great value to the Wilson brand however I was quite disconcerted and flabergasted when my younger cousin who has used these in the past has said that there are not really very durable and tend to lose their newness fast when utilized a lot. He stated that they become less bouncy and really tend to lose their fuzzy surface . As players know, when this occurs the balls are not the same and will play inconsistently. Well, I found thus far to not be the case.
Bouncing Balls
Comparing the Wilson ball with other competitors, I find it to be a better value. Other brands are more expensive and I don't really believe, quite frankly, provide a more exceptional product than Wilson does. In fact, I don't find a discernable difference between them and others.
So in conclusion if you are looking for a quality tennis ball at a very reasonable price, I would highly recommend choosing the three pack of Wilson Championship Tennis Balls.
