Pros:Good ball flight, and direction control if hit well
Cons:Resale value sucks, a little heavy for smaller players, and old school technology
Bought the Fat Shaft, steel shaft, because I don't like graphite. Although a little heavier, the control and feel is better. After a 30 year lay off from golf, I jumped back in and bought these from a recommendation of a friend who has played his for 5 years and likes them a lot. I used to play at an 8 handicap, so I know how to play fairly well. After a year with these clubs, my scores are right back in the mid to high 70's, and dropping. For me, the Fatties work fairly well, but are inconsistent at best. A good strike will go very well, but one not so perfect will really make you pay for the mistake. Not very forgiving in my eyes. I would say these would be best for a medium handicap or lower because of it. A duffer would be upset with the whole game using these. I have since replaced these with the new Cobra 3100I/H, steel shaft once again, and find these so much better, it's not even a close call. Fatties are okay, but not much better than that.
