| Alaskaboyi's Full Review: Wilson Hammer 6.4 Power Holes |
This racquet may seem very similar to the Hammer 6.2 but it is very different. I have used this racquet two years now on my varsity tennis team. First, the head on this racquet is much lighter than the one on the 6.2 so it took time for me to adjust to the 6.4. Its not much different, but i could feel the difference. The 6.4 gave me much more control, but I had to swing harder to generate the same amount of power i generated on the 6.2. Im really not sure what the power holes did for me...they just look really cool. The 6.4 also feels somewhat stronger. If you want a racquet which can handle fast swings and not fall apart, then buy this racquet. I have to admit that its not the greatest racquet i've used. If you hate vibrations, then you have to buy one of those gel things because you feel a lot of vibrations with those new power holes. Other than that, this racquet is generally good for any advanced player. If you are a beginner...DO NOT PURCHASE THIS RACQUET, I REPEAT, DO NOT. Itll be too hard to learn to play with this racquet. If you do not have strong wrist control, do not buy this racquet. This racquet is only for powerful players who swing with much speed.
