Before I bought this racket, I only purchased rackets in the $20-$30 range. Those rackets got the job done, and I just assumed it was my skill level that was preventing me from getting better. It wasn't until I tried a $50 racket that I realized they could be so much better.

Most racket dealers will recommend you demo a racket before purchasing, but I read reviews and recommendations and just dove in with the XT Rok. I'm 6 feet tall, 30 years old with a few years of playing under my belt, and I tend to play about equal power and placement, although I tend to rely a little more on power to hit winners.
This is my first big racket purchase and I couldn't be happier. Starting with my first game, all my shots have increased in speed with less effort, and my kill shots are landing with greater accuracy. I wish I had known earlier how important a racket is to playing the game.
I love the design of the racket, with the noose-style wrist strap and the strings that run from end to end. The weight is heavy enough to feel power when attacking the ball, but light enough to maneuver it quickly between forehand and backhand.
The only thing I can think of that I may not like in this racket is the narrowness of the hitting area near the throat. I've been hitting the ball with the edge of the racket more often than before in that area, but I'm hoping that's just part of the growing pains of using a new racket.
