When it comes to boots, not many compare to Red Wings. These boots are made with full grain brown leather.The soles are made with oil-resistant long wear non-marking urethane. Complete with steel toe. These boots are also very well made. I have had this pair for about four years and they are still in good working condition. The boots are waterproof, and very comfortable. They are the most durable boots I have ever owned, and I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new pair of boots.

I have worn these boots through wood cutting, and have dropped a few trees on them in the past without any injuries to my feet. I have also ran over them with a one-ton truck. Walking through swamps and marshes my feet stay always dry.

The only problem with Red Wing boots is that they tend to run about a half size larger than they say. This is not only a problem for these particular boots but most Red Wing boots. For that reason I would recommend ordering slightly smaller than needed.

After wearing these boots for the last few years my soles are starting to wear down. However they should last another couple of years before I have to replace them.
