Running a fresh set on my Jeeo Cherokee XJ Sedan...Excellent traction in ice and snow.
Like all winter tires must be used in sets of four...a great investment if you live in any kind of winter ice snow conditions.
Less expensive than some other "premuim" label branded tires but as a private label Firestone, these Winterforce are every bit as good if not better.
Like any winter tire they are softer and thus a bit noisy and a percent sloppier in handling than a summer tire.
However, the performance is outstanding and the surefooted performance should outweigh any ride noise.
The winters here in Buffalo, NY are harshe and snow / ice tires absolutley make all the differance when it comes to safety and driving assured.
I have run snow / ice tries on all my cars for many years ... it is the cheapest insurance for winter saftey and comfort one could make.
A set of these tires will last three of four seasons if taken off promptly at winters ed so as not to burn them up.
Another big upside is you can run a true summer tire and get maximum performance and comfort in summer rather than running a middle of the road all season which does everything OK but nothing great.
As second set of steal wheels is a good addition for winter tires...makes changeover season to season easier and saves from having to breakdown and rebalance as well.
