Pros: Interesting for Coke-o-philes. A pleasant way to kill an hour.
Cons: The $7 admission. It should be free!

| tvlawyer's Full Review: World of Coca-Cola |
After living in Atlanta for nearly ten years, I used the visit of some out-of-town guests as an excuse to check out this museum. After my visit to the attraction, I can see that I didn't miss too much during those ten years.
The World of Coca-Cola is an extensive collection of Coke history and memorabilia. I suppose that an avid collector might find this interesting. I did not.
There are a few video kiosks on Coke science and the manufacturing process. The theater, which you MUST walk through, shows a visibly dated (1990)corporate propaganda film on the presence of Coke around the world. The highlight of the tour is the tasting room where you get to sample Coca-Cola products not sold in this country. It's a nice feature, but it only takes one sip of watermelon soda from China before you have a sugar headache!
The museum is a pleasant enough use of an hour's time. But, what really sours me on the experience is the $7.00 cost of admission. This exhibit is an obvious vehicle for fostering interest in Coca-Cola and promoting brand awareness and loyalty. As such, admission to the exhibit should be FREE!
