When we brought our cat home from the Humane Society I had decided to pick up a bag of Feline Pine as it was the litter I had used with my last cat. But after a few days of seeing that the new kitty hadn't used the litter box but maybe once or twice, I read an article on a forum where they explained that some cats are sensitive to different kinds of litter. And all cat owners know that cats are all finicky in their own way.

I did a little research and decided to try World's Best Cat Litter. It is made out of corn, 100% natural, biodegradable, flushable, and (best of all) it is clumping! Plus the apartment no longer smelled like a pine forest after I poured the new litter into the litter box.

World's Best runs around $12.00 for a 7 pound bag. For one indoor/outdoor cat this bag lasts between 2-4 weeks, depending upon the time of year (our cat tends to stay close to home during the winter/rainy season; on the average, he uses the litter box 2-3 times per day) And I love the fact that it is 100% natural. There is absolutely no dust like some other leading brands, and there is no litter scent. I also love the fact that it is clumping, so it makes scooping out the litter box a snap! Even the bits that get stuck at the bottom of the box aren't too bad; you just scrape the bits off the bottom and voila: all cleaned up.

The only thing that I don't like about World's Best is that it gets caught between our cat's toes and he tracks the granules around the floor a bit when he's finished using the litter box. However, I have yet to meet a litter that was "non-tracking".
