Pros: Works great, non-greasy, absorbs quickly.
Cons: Pricey. Not easy to find in stores, and online shipping also expensive.
The Bottom Line: Recommend if you have a skin irritation or slow healing scar.

| sophiasmom's Full Review: Wright Stuff Triderma Md Intense Healing Cream |
I have a large scar across my mid thigh, caused by my femur breaking through my skin during a car accident in June. (I was in a head on collision with a drunk driver.) I also have multiple scars down the same leg where an external fixator had been screwed into my bones at multiple sites, and have four sets of staple scars where staples had been inserted in my thigh to stabilize the rod that was put in because of the broken femur. On top of this, from being bedridden, the skin on my leg was peeling constantly, and I had multiple scabs and brush burned skin that didn't seem to want to heal.
I spent a fortune on products designed for scars and skin irritations. In good time I found this, and bought it even though it was $15 plus dollars for 4 ounces. I smoothed the lotion over my biggest scar first, the guineau pig, because it was easiest to reach and bothering me the most. That same day I noticed a vast improvement.
The scar is ultra thick, and while a small end of it was starting to flatten out, the bulk of the scar looked and felt as if it was straining to remain closed. After one application, the scar was softer, and the area that was flattenin extended. I continued to use it several times a day for a week and noticed a huge improvement. The scar is getting thinner and flatter, and bothers me less every day.
I decided to use it on the whole leg, and was just as happy with the results. The scabs softened and peeled, and were less noticeable and flatter underneath. The skin peeling was also reduced, and not as itchy, and the brush burns (from when the firemen pulled me out from under the dasboard), although slower to heal, have improved noticeably.
The ingredients include genuine virgin Aloe, Vitamins A,B,D, and E, zinc, oat protein, and collagen. However this magic formula works, it does work. It is a white cream, thick but not greasy, and absorbs into the skin relatively quickly. It also does not rub off on clothes.
This product has made a dramatic difference in my life. My skin does not constantly itch as it did before, and I take some measure of solace in knowing that while I will likely remain wheelchair bound until the end of the year, my leg no longer looks like a scarred, peeling mess but is beginning to resemble a normal leg. And that is definitely worth my $15 bucks.
