It has been five days since I returned from my conference, and I swear I am still seeing the fruitfly invasion that occured at the Wyndam Hotel.

The con was fun, met tons of great people, but the hotel...argh.

First lets start with the evening I arrived after a 10 hour drive.
1: lost my reservation made three monthes ago, checked it the day before I left, said yes I had one and then surprise surprise, no reservation. And yes, I did have the confirmation number.
2: lost my suite because of #1, so had to put up with a room way....way....way in the back. Nice long walk to main conference rooms.
3: fruitflies were horrid. Everyone in the dining area. I am paying 42.00 for a meal, I don't want flies around.
4: my companion ended up with food poisoning from the pizza they made.
5: room service took 1 hour for a pot of coffee!
6: tried to overcharge me during the bar party. (still fighting this one with the cc) They charged my cc for everyone sitting at my table...ehem, just my four drinks please.
7: parking was way overpriced. 96.00 to get my car out.
8: tried to overcharge me after I left, saying I had stayed one extra night. Hello? I called from my home that night to ask if they found a sweater in the closet!
9: stink...stink...stink. They were in the process of remodeling parts of the hotel, and the stench in the hallway was real bad.
10: ummm, english anyone? Maid didn't speak it, I put up the sign that says do not disturb and jump in the shower. Couple minutes later she walks in the bathroom, you need towel clean? Hello, I am naked here...get out! No clean now? NO GET OUT!!!

So how was my stay?
Horrid...a real horror movie. No vacancy here thank you and gosh, I got to return again next year. Just great.
