Great sounding, affordable speakers to for you mp3 habit

Pros: Great sound

One of my speakers suddenly stopped working, and listening to non-stereo mp3s was not my idea of fun. So my brother got me these speakers for Christmas after researching small, non sub-woofer speaker sets (I don't want a sub-woofer).

These sound really really good. At least as good as most good quality boom boxes. For their size, I am quite impressed. Plus, you plug them in and they work.

The only thing annoying about them is that the volume knob is also how you turn the speakers off. So you have to re-find the volume you like each time you turn them on. I guess, it's also a bit annoying that the tops are slanted so you can't stack stuff on top of them, but that is very minor.

The ones I have are putty colored, not black as in the above picture.
