Pros: Great combination of on-road smoothness and off-road capability.
Cons: Stiffer than most OEM stock tires
The Bottom Line: Recommended for anyone who actually takes their vehicle off road, but still needs a tire with decent street manners for the 9-5 commute.

| cygnus-x1's Full Review: Yokohama Geolander A/T+ Truck/SUV Tire |
I recently ditched a set of General Grabbers that came stock on my 2001 Nissan Xterra 4x4 in favor of these Geolandar AT+II tires. Wow! What a difference. Where the other tires would hydroplane at the slightest drop of rain, the Geolandars really grip the road. Wet and dry braking are superb. I have always heard good things about the new AT+II tires (I believe they have a slightly different design than the original Geolandar ATs) so I decided to get them. I actually take my SUV off-road and so far the Geolandars have been awesome. They don't pick up every pebble and stone like other AT tires, and the deep center channels allow them to clear away mud and snow. This tire is probably equal to the BFG AT/KO tire in my opinion, maybe even better since this tire can clear mud and won't float on the snow like the BFG's. So far I think these are fantastic tires for on and off road performance, especially in wet conditions.
