I had never had Yoplait yogurt before. My daughter tried some yogurt drink product made by Yoplait and I had tried it, and did not like it all that well. But, when Costco had a coupon for this light yogurt I decided I will give it a shot.

Harvest Peach was 1/3 of the club pack and it has a luscious flavor. The peaches are terrific! The overall quality is smooth and tempts your taste buds by calling to them “fresh fruit flavor” every spoonful. The peaches have such a sweet, ripe flavor that makes it almost unbelievable.

The Product

The container of yogurt is 6 ounces or 170g. The plastic container is wider at the bottom and smaller at the top. Sometimes, it makes it a bit difficult to get the spoon in and out without losing some of the yogurt! But, it is worth it. The yogurt containers pack well in a lunch bag. They are covered with a foil top that usually has some sayings on them or advertisements of a flavor they want you to notice.

This product is labeled fat free and is approved by “bestlife™ or www.bestlife.com .

I have occasionally had the yogurt be on the foil lining and “spray” out at me when opening the foil top. So, be careful when opening, you might want to turn the side you are opening away from you to protect your clothing! Mind you, a lot did not spray out, but even a little bit on a blouse can be a pain if you are hurrying to a meeting and don’t want to look sloppy!

The yogurt is creamy, but it is not too thick. The yogurt drink that I tried of my daughter’s was thick (to me) but this product is not. I know that I can pour her drink out of the container, slowly. This container, I cannot. Maybe, I am just thinking a drink should not be so thick. This yogurt was just right!

Overall Impressions

Opening the container you are overtaken by the wonderful smell of peaches. They delight your sense straight out! The flavor only enhances that scent because it is wonderfully delightful and full of sweet, ripe peaches throughout the container.

And, as noted by the nutritional content above, you have minimal calories, no fat and it is quick and easy! What more could you ask for in a product? If you like yogurt and enjoy the fruit flavors, this one is a very good yogurt to try. I have had others that claimed to be “light” and have fruit in them, but they seem to lack the smell and the flavor. But Yoplait provides both!
