maenads's Full Review: Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island for Game Boy...
Well I guess you can't go back. I Never played this game on Super Nintendo, but I did and do still some times play Super Mario 1 and 2 for the Super nintendo and I can't remember it ever being this easy.I thought great another Mario but this time with Yoshi. I always liked yoshi.
But I discovered I just wasted time and money. The game was just way to easy. I ended up with 30 lives before I even reached an area in the game That I had any Problems with. The game is divided into 6 "worlds" I think each world had 8 level, 1 miniboss, and 1 boss. The first difficult level wasn't reached untill atleast the 2 world and I only lost 5 lives at max on each problem area. In between Prodlem areas you were able to easly accumulate lives.
The Game object is to re-unite Mario(baby) and Lugia(baby) who were seperated. The Yoshi's (about 8 of them) have all agreed to help baby Mario find his brother. so they each take turn caring him on there back through the levels.one hit and baby mario goes floating in a bubble if the yoshi can't get mario before time runs out(time is anywhere form 1-30 sec.) then yoshi loses a life and must start form a saved point in the level or the begining.
To check to see If I was Just to old for this game I had a 10 year old give it a try. It was only slightly easier for me then it was for her.
