Zia Natural Skincare Acne Treatment Mask is the natural way to send zits running scared WITHOUT drying or irritating your face.
Unlike popular Benzoyl Peroxide and Salicylic Acid containing products, this all-natural mask relies on colloidal sulfur, camphor, silica and glycerin.
The product information states that the product is for oily, combination and acne-prone skin types. However, because it is gentle and non-drying, I don't see any reason why it could not be used for normal and dry skin-types who have an occasional breakout.
Zia's information also says that " This treatment combines colloidal sulfur and camphor to calm redness, draw out toxins, and heal breakouts. Makes an excellent overnight spot treatment, will not dry or dehydrate the skin."
And you know what? It really works and works exceptionally well. You can practically feel your pimples drying up. You apply a thin layer of this mask on your problem areas, and it dries to a thick paste within 2-3 minutes. Wash it away with a warm washcloth, and redness is alleviated, swelling is lessened, and your face feels tingly and clean.
Sometimes I use it once, then add a hot compress to the area, then use it again. This works really well for deep acne that you are trying to draw out without damaging your face.
I have purchased this mask twice- once from drugstore.com, and again from Uncommonscents.com. I have not experienced any dryness, flaking, peeling, redness or irritation from using it. I estimate that on average, my pimples clear up at least 1-2 days faster than they would if I allowed them to "run their course".
I give Zia's Acne Treatment Mask 5 stars It works fast, is gentle, has a profound effect on drying acne. Unlike most Benzoyl Peroxide products, it does not peel off layers of your skin around the acne for days and days after use, making your makeup look caked-on and drawing obvious attention to your pimple aftermath. With Zia Acne Mask, you can dry up your zits and still look good while doing it.
5 stars for another spectacular product from Zia... a company that has consistently earned my trust and my business by creating environmentally friendly, natural products.
