Pros: Works great.

Cons: None, I don't mind the sticky gel. It's better than drugs.

I've used Zicam for the last few years and it has worked fine for me. I used to use NasalCrom and it worked well. I started using that in 2000. A few years ago I started having problems with exacerbation of my hayfever-type allergies again after years of just occasional problems, relieved with NasalCrom, but the NasalCrom didn't seem to take care of it as well. I started using Zicam and it worked well. I started using the NasalCrom and the Zicam together and it worked even better. It stops an allergic reaction in it's tracks for me. I still use them for my occasional flareups. Wheat consumption is something that aggravates my allergies, so I try to stay away from it and that helps too. Otherwise, I resort to taking an OTC antihistamine at night before bed if it gets really bad.
