Pros:Great Quality, Script, Humor,

The Bottom Line: How The Grinch Stole Christmas is a holiday classic and is really funny. It's a must have for everyone.

Now i know that i like watching many movies including Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, Frosty The Snowman, And A Christmas Story, But there is one movie that i always liked to watch and that was How The Grinch Stole Christmas,

Now How The Grinch Stole Christmas is a great movie, And we already know what it's about, But most importently it's not nice to steal from someone you don't know or don't seem to love at all. And the Grinch does that in this film to prove that he's a green no good mean monster who is out to terrorize the whovilles and who want him to stop. And to tell you that the Grinch is not like The Joker or even Jason Voorhees, But is more mean greedy and is more scary and creepy then before.

The Grinch hates Christmas and wants to stop it from coming in Whoville, So he sets up a plan to make it stop, But meanwhile he's a man with 2 hearts and with his dog at his side named Max he is going to stop Christmas from coming once and for all. So he goes into the town of Whoville and dresses up as Santa Claues while stealing all the decorations, Christmas trees, Presents, And Food from the who's while with his dog Max goes to put it on his sleigh and he is really not in the mood for any Christmas spirit or singing,

So meanwhile he goes to his mountain cave and also hides all the good cheer from the good who's in Whoville, And they wake up finding no Christmas trees, No Presents, No Decorations, And no Food at all.

I like the fact that this film was a holiday hit and classic for us. We enjoyed seeing it and to tell you the Truth that it is quite a great holiday film that is great for audiences dispite The Grinch's mean smile and tone too.

Boris Karloff plays as the narrator and voices The Grinch perfectly which in his role sounds mean and deep with the graverally tones, And Chuck Jones the maker of this film met with Boris Karloff and told him to voice The Grinch who was supposed to be scary and mean as depicted in this sort of film. - Though The Grinch does not tell much of the story too much here, He is sure to please and make everyone laugh or be scared because of his act to Whoville. But the role that Boris Karloff did was awesome too.

The music for this movie was well inspired and done well by Albert Hague who is the composer for the song, You're A Mean One Mr Grinch, Because it's a nasty song and that you have to pay attention to it to know what it's about. But it's a nasty song describing how mean and nasty and awful The Grinch really is. And it also will have you singing along.

The scene i remember most while watching this movie is when The Grinch who is dressed up as Santa Claues is confronted by a little girl named Cindy Lou Who who wakes up and he has to answer her question because she is a tot and woke up from it.

Cindy Lou Who: Santie Claues, Why? Why are you taking our Christmas tree, why?
The Grinch: Why my sweet little tot ...there's a light on this tree that won't light on one side. So i'm taking it home to my work shop, my dear. I'll fix it up there, then I'll bring it back here.

But i also remember how he pats her on the head and gives her a glass of water before putting her to bed, Now that's pretty nice and a very sweet thing that he did so nobody suspected him doing it though why he was stealing the Christmas tree and i did not get it at all.

This film is very Funny and Humor is sure to follow, There is a scene where Max has his tail fed through a sewing machine, And the sequence where The Grinch heads to Whoville while his dog Max acts as a reindeer pulling the sleigh for him, Is going to put a smile on everyone's face, And the way that he grabs his dog Max while he's poundering while all the Who's in Whoville while they are singing after he took all of their Christmas stuff is pretty funny and is the best scene in Christmas history.

This film was made by Dr Seuss and of course Chuck Jones as they were both friends during World War 2, It also has a classic feel to it and everything in between that you can't get enough of it. It's sure to leave that plesent thought in your mind that nothing will stop Christmas from coming in Whoville and even the Who's celebrate it and ignore The Grinch.

But what's so nice about this film is that the quality and animation is very nice indeed, Chuck Jones has made a great film and it makes the characters and movements look crisp, Yet so real that you imagine who did all the colors and yet on this dvd. It's perfect and not nearly as bad as it used to be back then when it was old. But this is the Newer version so you don't have to worry about bad quality anymore at all.

Now i can tell you that Boris Karloff was more serious for this scary role and acting as The Grinch, And as much as Ebenezer Scrooge who dislikes the Christmas spirit and is visited by three ghosts while in his mansion and because they show him what it's like in the Future and if he never existed. But also Frank Capra's It's A Wonderful Life also shows how George Bailey a grumpy and mad buisnessman how Christmas would be if he was never ever born and that an angel shows him. But The Grinch seems to find out that Christmas is the time when you care for someone and when you Give Presents to those in need of something. But finds out later why he is angry and later expresses it to the Who's. And Boris Karloff is awesome at this role which i really liked and The Grinch does not say Bah Humbug like Scrooge Does and seems to hate Christmas for what it is even though he needs to forgot about being mad and know what Christmas is.

It also has a really good script and at times it's easy to understand what The Grinch says to his dog Max sometimes, And in this film it's not hard to understand what they say is not hard.

So How The Grinch Stole Christmas is a great film for all ages and a fun film. It will make you laugh and it's a must have.
