I'd have to agree there... I have seen her show on several occasions and her uber-perkiness and constant hand gestures didn't appeal to me. No quarrel with the food though, so I may have to check out the book, instead. :)

Certainly in the book she comes across more as whimsical than perky, so if you find her personality on the show overwhelming, the book might suit you better!

I like the concept of Rachel Ray's 30-minute meals. My mother loves watching her. I find her too perky for my taste. Still, Rachel Ray in book form sounds better.
