.........Congratulations Peggy! That is awesome. What a great one to win.
It is funny the places you can find great books, and usually at wonderful prices too.
Thanks so much for reading/rating and of course commenting. Again, congrats...couldn't happen to a nicer lady.........Make it a great new week......kath

Kids books (Reply to this comment)
by pilarzmom
You know, sometimes they sell books in the oddest places but I find that these odd ball books are often great. Last year at Kohls I picked up a couple Charlie Brown/Peanuts classics (such as It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!)right near the checkstand. What a great find--they were also on sale.
I'm pretty pumped--I just found out that I won the July sweepstakes--$100 at Borders. Great for Xmas shopping for my kids!

.........thanks Sara. Ahhhh yes, the teenager. Now there is a breed all their own. When mine hit that stage I wondered if we'd survive....thankfully all four made it through. lol
Thanks so much for stopping by...I really love this book too. Sounds as if your children reminded you of just what individuals they are. ....Make it a great weekend........kath

Little Man LOVED this one (Reply to this comment)
by ladyhawk2_99
My oldest just LOVED this. Loved loved. It was fun to be reminded of how cute and cuddly he was before he turned 13 lol.
Oddly, Boo didn't get into it. I'd run out and purchased all Bear and Little man's favorites when Boo was born, and then he decided to go have his own tastes...go figure.
I love Boynton.
A very nice review as always. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

.........Jake really enjoys this one and since it can be pretty interactive with the animal sounds he usually pays attention.
I get to see Sammi a little bit, so that helps but my daycare sure feels different...just the two boys all day right now, very odd.
Thanks so much for r/r/c'ing Virginia....Make it a great day........kath

How did Jake react to this one? I am sure that the "Old" graduates of your pre school will remember you always.

....I read it to the boys again today and love how much they enjoy it. I think like you said, this one is a classic that can be enjoyed for years and years.
I agree with you about Sandra Boynton too! Wow, I just love her books. I've got to put a few more on hold at the library....they really do entertain. ...Make it a great day....kath

the number of giggles this little book has brought our family over the years. It's really a classic! I still sometimes quote it to my daughter, and it always makes her smile. She loves to chime in too, of course!
Hooray for Sandra Boynton!
Great review!

Board Book (Reply to this comment)

"I knew this cute little board book would... "
Kind of appropriate that you'd find a board book at a home improvement store.
Watch out for splinters while reading it or turning the pages.
I guess that the pace of a board book might be slow because it would lumber.

...It's just too darn fast, isn't it? I cannot believe that little Sammi and Dee are in kindergarten now. I only have Sammi a little bit now. They grow too quick.
Thanks for stopping by Carol....Make it a great day........kath
