rmgood's Full Review: Laura Corn - 101 Nights of Grrrreat Sex: Secret Se...
Well then, have you been to the "Gates of Heaven", the "Red Light District" or "The French Connection"? You certainly must have tried "The Cat Technique", "Tricks of the Tongue" or "Sex in a Shoe Box"! If you aren't intrigued by now, then you don't need this book. For the rest of us, listen up because I have "The Erotic Equation" for you!
Laura Corn has developed a "Delicious Detour" to the same old sexual routine. In this tear-out and go wild book, she reveals "The Secret Dessert" to "Waves of Desire". The book consists of 101 sealed suggestions for "The Pleasure Principle". Each page is listed with tempting titles such as those listed throughout this review and are clearly stated either for Her Eyes Only or For His Eyes Only. The object is once a week, each partner picks a "Down and Dirty" title and plans a secret surprise for their lover later in the week.
Now this isn't your run-of-the-mill self-help book. In fact, this is more of a tool than a book. Each suggestion gives very graphic, very detailed step-by-step instructions for a creative, fun and maybe even a little "Wet and Wild" seduction. The front of the sealed page lists icons that represent what you will need to be successful in you seduction. For example, a car icon means you will have to drive somewhere; a sun icon means you will need nice weather; and a fork/spoon means food is involved.
So what do you need to take advantage of these 101 nights of great sex? Well, first and foremost you need an open-mind and a comfort level with your body. For example, one seduction involves wrapping up a Playboy magazine for your lover to find and wonder about for a few hours before you greet him in sexy lingerie holding a Polaroid camera and several rolls of film. I'm sure you get the idea from there. If you don't, never fear because Laura Corn will walk you through the whole process from props to poses to a little creative flair. All you need is to be willing to enjoy foreplay and be open to trying new things.
Now for you ladies out there who are married or involved with the typical macho man, there are a few ways to get him to participate. First, although many men are put off by the idea of having to read about better sex, this book isn't like that. He can tear out the pages and it only involves reading a couple paragraphs, most of which are entertaining, frank and to-the-point. Usually, the idea of exciting sexual encounters will be enough to "arouse" his interest. If not, make the first move. By the book yourself, pick out a seduction and surprise him with "Double the Pleasure". After one or two enticing seductions, he will be eager to play along with you. For those of you who don't have children at home or the children are still too young to read, leave the book in the bathroom. Sooner or later (more than likely sooner) his curiosity will get the better of him and he'll want to know more.
My Overall Impression of this Book:
I love it! But unless you have a lot of time on your hands, the two per week can be a little much. My husband and I would pull a page every other week or once a month and surprise each other when we had time to relax and enjoy it. It was enough to spice up our love life and little enough to look forward to the next "Specialty of the House". Some of the suggestions are a little too outrageous and I found myself shying away from them. However, if you set it aside and start with something a little less wild, in time you will find yourself intrigued enough to want to try it. And if not, I have found you can always substitute things to better fit your comfort level.
This is a sure-fire way to spice up your romance. Isn't it time to light that old flame?
