Pros:Customer service was responsive.
Cons:Though responsive, Customer Service was not helpful in any way.
The Bottom Line: I know some Spanish, so I know what's missing. I don't trust Pimsleur to help with a language I DON'T know.
I paid $256 for Spanish II, the gold edition, having already purchased Spanish I, the Gold Edition. The last CD on Spanish I had items like "how much does it cost?" The first CD of Spanish II had "I'm going to see it in order to learn more Spanish." and "someone has told me that the film is very good" and "I prefer the theater." No way does that transition make any sense. New words, new sentence constructions, new verb forms (as in irregular) -- all with NO prior help at all.

The reading material that goes with each set (which I was able to download from their site) seems to have very little to do with what is being said on the CDs.
I thought I must have gotten the wrong set, so I wrote them. They said I should go back and review Spanish I again and make sure I could be at least 80% correct. I took Spanish in high school and in college and am doing this as a review. I had Spanish 1 down cold.
They also told me that the reading material probably doesn't go with the set I purchased, but that it's really just so you can see the words in print.
I'm done with Pimsleur.
