I thought I did...as far as I can tell (and mind you I don't know Dutch) it means "the style."

I guess one man's treasure is another man's De Stijl.
I'd think about using this as a subject for my write off but I'd be breaking my own rules. (too many people like it)
By the way Shelly, you got another Three Doors Down or similar CD that you could rant about in the ONE STAR's TOO HIGH W/O?

I was about to review this, but you've pretty much said all I was going to. It's definitely an undiscovered gem, and I'm undecided as to whether this or Elephant is their best work. The slide playing is scorching, and the cover of Death Letter is raw genius.

well, you prefer elephant, but this is actually my favourite white stripes album. i dunno why, but something about it appeals to me more.

There are a lot of descriptions I could think of when it comes to 'The White Stripes', I think their second release 'De Stijl' is pretty good. My favorite song on the CD is 'Apple Blossom'.
