hippolooloo's Full Review: Richard Paul Evans - The Christmas Box: Anniversar...
I am not a big reader but i saw a ad about this book and christmas is my favorite holiday so I thought I would read this book. I was surprised by the fact it wasn't anything I thought it would be about . from the first page to the last, I found it hard to put this book down. it was a heart warming tale and I read this book in a couple of hours which is good for me since I can't stay with a book for long. It was sweet and sad and I am planning on reading it again. It was sweet reading about the poor family who needed some help and them going to live with a old woman who needed championship more than needing physical help. In the end I think the family got more out of the living arrangements than the old lady did. It was heartwarming reading about the closeness the family and the old lady shared . It was nice to see that the family took away more from their sharing the house with the lady then just a place to live. they became her family and she became their family. She gave them love and they gave her the much need friendship and love that she needed. Even if you aren't a big reader you will find it hard to not to enjoy this story.
