Pros: Reads MP3 files, aux input in front of unit, and magic flap security.
Cons: Skips like crazy. 2-3 second pause between tracks. No anti-shock memory what-so-ever.
The Bottom Line: DON'T BUY AIWA UNLESS YOU LIKE YOUR SONGS TO SKIP FREQUENTLY! THEY HAVE A LOT TO LEARN ABOUT MP3 DECKS!

I recently bought this MP3 deck from Crutchfield. I didn't even think to check for anti-shock memory because I automatically assumed that a car CD deck would have that. Nope. None at all. I tried all I could to dampen the shocks out and it still skipped at the slightest bump. Horrible. Not only that, but it took 2-3 seconds to go from track to track when playing MP3s. It does read the MP3s very well, though. Output is outstanding, so long as it isn't skipping. The magic flap security is cool, too, but ineffective against a determined thief. I traded this deck in for the Blaupunkt San Jose and must say I am very much pleased now!
