Pros:Solid state, easy mounting, can handle max volume most any receiver, , GREAT WARRANTY.
Cons:A little tinny sounding at very high volumes but not too bad.
Gotta love the haters! How anyone can buy a pair of Bose speakers and say they're bad is beyond me but some people do it. I'm not one of them. These things handle most receivers to MAX volume. So much so that Bose doesn't even bother putting a wattage rating on them because what's the point? If they blew up, Bose takes care of them for FOUR years, no questions asked.
I really like Klipsch but Bose is hard to beat and these mount nicely on pivots so you can easily turn them and such. Not sure what anyone would expect from an outdoor speaker but for me, these will bring the cops down on me in seconds flat if I'm not careful. When you go to MAX volume, the speakers handle it but there's a limit in which music is going to want to distort anyway at very high volumes but these push out enough volume for most everyone before you get to that level.
Swallow hard before buying them, they're 358.00 a pair but hey you'll get what you pay for.
