| booriiz's Full Review: Casio EV-4500 4 in. Portable TV |
I bought this since I ever wanted a small TV on my bedside.
It showed very clear image, and good perception. The design is so nice and easy to use. The best portable TV I can imagine. I tested its perception at the various locations at home. My feeling: you might need external antenna if your bed is far from the window.
Unfortunately, it's not water resistent. indeed I think this is not for kitchen, but great for your bedroom. CASIO has water-resistent SY-4000(?) w/ amost the same specification. But the design of SY-4000 looked too much sporty for me, and I decided it's not suitable for my bedroom.
The battery lasts only 2 hrs approximately, I think, partly because of TFT, which gives you the crisp image with the sacrifice of the battery life. A small stand came with this product, but there's no tilt adjustment which makes me hard to watch sometimes. (You can watch LCD display only within some specified angle. This must be the common disadvantage of LCD TVs).
It's RSVP is near $300, but even AC adapter is not included in the package. When you buy this product, you have to consider to purchase all necessary accessories at the same time. I never carried this for a travel yet, so I can't comment for the durability.
Regardless of these disadvantages, EV-4500 is the best product you can find in the market!
