Pros: Good overall CD-MP3 player, CD-RW support, cool 2.0 firmware, ID3 tags support, good sound quality
Cons: The case feels a bit cheap and the screen could be larger.
The Bottom Line: Simply go get it right now !

| mmxtreme's Full Review: Rio Volt SP100 Personal CD Player |
The Rio Volt is a good mp3-cd player overall but it lacks bit in the design. The plastic body is not too sturdy, but if you compare with most cd players it's not too bad, sure it's not a metal shockwave ! The buttons could have a smoother feeling, without that clicking sound. Also the opening mechanism of the door could be better. Otherwise this player is a wonderful baby. You can listen to about 200 mp3 in 192 kilobits per second quality while working on your computer even if you have to shutdown because of Windows or for whatever reason. The menus are extremely cool with the new 2.0 firmware. It has a lot of new features. But don't rely on the supplied ear buds they simply suck! Get a pair of Panasonic gold plated HP-RV955 and you won't miss a thing. CD-RW support is the best thing that has come down to out world since women ;) You can erase the CD-rw , or you can choose not to close it and you can still use it on the rio volt !!!!!!
