| BShel96's Full Review: Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P20 Digital Camera |
This camera is one of the best deals you can find for a mid-range digital camera. At 1.3 Megapixels, you will get great quality pictures, and the ability to take MPEG movie clips is virtually unheard of in camera's of this price range. The included 4 Meg Memory Stick is enough to fit about 25 high quality pictures, more at a lower quality. If you need more then that, Sony has recently cut the prices on all their Memory Sticks so you can get a nice 8 Meg one for about $20. As for the downsides, there aren't many. The only one I can think of is the fact that the camera only comes with standard AA batteries that will last at most an hour of shooting. You can buy a Lithium Ion battery kit with charger from Sony for about $100, and if you can afford it I would suggest doing so since the price of batteries can get steep if you use the camera a lot. As is standard with most digital cameras nowadays, it has a USB connection for your computer which is exceedingly easy to hook up. If you are running a Macintosh computer like I am, you don't even need to install any extra software, the camera comes up on the desktop like any ordinary disk.
