User Rating: Very Good
Ease of Use:
Quality of Tech Support:
Pros:Good for everyday use, cheaper than bigger brand names
Cons:Can't multitask, tendency to freeze with more than 5 programs open
The Bottom Line: It's great for the price. I'd say it would be a good buy for older generations.
If you're looking for a computer for everyday use and just everyday use, this one will satisfy your needs. The Acer Aspire 5253-BZ602 (LXRD502005) PC Notebook provides satisfactory performance for its low price. I bought this computer for my mother and she has no complaints about it. Infact, she has come to love it, as she uses it to chat on forums and watch soaps from decades past. However, when I used it, my overly critical personality found a few faults in its workings.

The RAM is enough for watching online videos and using basic programs, but don't count on having any success with a plethora of windows open. This product doesn't quite do well with multitasking and crashes when put on too much stress. I also found that running big programs and minimizing them to do something else causes delay in the computer response. Something like a minimized video game will give you quite of the thorn in your side if you don't close it.
For the price, it's a good deal. If you want a better computer with better specs, you'll have to put up the money for it.
Overall, it's not a bad product. Like any computer, it freezes, but other than that, I have faced no other problems with this device. It was worth the money paid and has lasted me a good while. No further complaints from me.
I'd suggest this product if you have money constraints and can't fathom spending over 1k on a proper computer.
