This is one of the perfume that I love to hate but I simply can't.  I've seen good albeit mixed reviews on Angel by Thierry Mugler EDP online.  To satisfy my curiosity, I bought my very first Shooting Star Angel by Thierry Mugler EDP 1.7 oz for $89.99.


My personal experience with Angel by Thierry Mugler.

Comes in a blue packaging with inner construction to fit the Shooting Star-shaped bottle and keep it upright inside the box.  It comes with a mini leaflet about the product.  The star-shaped bottle is bluish clear and the nozzle area is a shiny silver. 

Smell test: I sprayed one on air and tried to get a whiff. Big mistake! This perfume has a strong scent! So I did a second test: I sprayed it this time on a piece of cloth and took a sniff.  Yuck! Still too strong.  Trust me, it reeked and is very overpowering.  I considered to put test cloth in the laundry bin but forgot all about it. 

A couple of days later, as I was sorting my laundry.  I picked up that discarded "test cloth" and was surprised.  Very, very surprised!  The perfume smelled so GOOD.  I can actually pick up the scent of caramel, vanilla and chocolate on it! The reeky and overpowering odor is gone and was replaced by a sweet, innocent goodness of a scent.  That knowledge made me very happy.  I now found out how I am going to apply the perfume the next time I will wear it.  Spray intended clothing a day before wearing it.  The scent/fragrance lasts for a long time, since its very strong - it lasted the very next day and the day after.  I get complimented on this one a lot too. 

Anyway, the bottle does not stand by itself, either you have to leave it laying down with the nozzle up or you can simply buy the Angel Star Holder (sold at $25) or place it back on its box.  I simply placed in back on its box.


A SEASONAL FAVORITE:  I prefer to wear Angel by Thierry Mugler EDP during cold seasons (less sweating).  Body heat also intensifies the perfume scent.
