I was a windows lover before Vista came out. College came along and there was a wonderful deal where I could buy an Apple Macbook, receive a free IPod and also a free printer! I could not say no to that offer. After a wonderful 4 years with my Macbook, I am more than impressed. It's sleek design and quick processor never keeps you waiting. This is a great first laptop for someone in college who is always on the go. I am never kept waiting, which is great when you have a busy schedule.

The transistion to a Macbook from a Windows is so simplistic, and provides easy user guides if you don't understand something. I was surprised with how quickly I learned how to operate the system. I was also amazed how influenced I was by all Apple products shortly after having my macbook. They are simply brilliant. This paticular Macbook is great in size. It is not as big as some of the other laptops (15"), but it does not take long to get used to. The screen is very legible and bright which makes it easy to read. My favorite thing is that it is user friendly and quick with loading. I love all the quick short cuts you can learn. Apple also does a wonderful job with providing screen protectants and keyboard protectors which you can buy from the Apple website. I definitely recommend it becuase the white can be a little dirty.
