I bought my first macbook for a little over 2 years ago(spring 2009) and i havn’t looked back since. I am currently using a 2011 15 inch macbook pro and it is my second mac. Sure you might be able to get a bit more ram and Hdd space or a bigger screen Cheaper but i have found that both my macs has been allot more stable then anything else i have owned or worked with.

The keyboard is very comfortable and a real pleasure to work with.

The track pad is by far the best i have ever tried  on any laptop and even tough i bought a mighty mouse with my first mac i have never really used it because of the great track pad.
Once you’r use to using the gestures it becomes you’r pointing device of choice.

The screen is nothing less then beautifull. And even though it’s very thin it dosn’t fell wobbly or fragile.

The battery life is by far the best i have ever seen.

How ever the Hard drive is like in most other laptops still just a 5400rpm and pretty slow.but it still a very fast machine and if this isn’t power full enough for you’r needs then i wouldn’t buy a laptop at all.
