Sorry I had not seen this sooner or I would have gladly replied to you!! There are gauges inside of the camper...ours is over the sink. They show you how much waste, gray water, and fresh water there is in each of your tanks. Inside of the back bumper there is a waste hose. When you are at a campground (and at MANY roadside rest areas) there are special hookups just to pump the waste out. Very easy, painless, and NOT messy!! Just make certain that you make certain that you have plenty of water available when you empty your waste water (only toilet in there) or your tank can get clogged. Then you have to pay at least $300 to get it professionally cleaned back out again. Fortunately, our dealer had warned us thoroughly about that before we purchased it! Happy camping!!

We're considering a travel trailer, too. The main question I had, and just about the only one not covered in your review, is about emptying the waste on a travel trailer, especially if you aren't using an RV park of some kind. Thanks for an informative review.
