We owned a 1995 Coleman Bayside and loved everything about it except the small floor space when opened. When the 2000 came out with the slide out dining area, we were excited to upgrade. When the trailer is opened up it is wonderful! Lots of room to roam around, comfortable large king size beds that fit even my 6 foot 3 inch frame. Plenty of storage and room for our two kids and two more in a pinch where the dining area is.
The new tent trailer also has modern conveniences like a video/cable hook up and water filter next to the tap. The latter being especially nice for making good coffee.
One small gripe: with the slide outs slid in when the camper is closed the room for storage when traveling has been greatly reduced. I guess we will have to buy a bigger SUV!
