Small car with a lot of guts

by galileo365: Written: Mar 10 '04

Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Good durable car
Cons: This one was wailed on before Pwyll bought it
The Bottom Line: Good used car in most cases.

My friend Pwyll owns one of these cars. Even though the things a total piece of sh!t, the motor and power train are still loaded with power for a 4 banger.

The car I'm talking about was affectionatly named "The Brit" by Pwyll, because it kinda reminds you of one of those British cars. The car is about to take that long tow into automobile heaven in the next couple days here,, so as tribute to a fine pile of sh!t,, I shall write a brief Eulogy on the life of "The Brit"

When I was first met the Brit,, He was being packed with all of Pwylls worldly possessions. His @$$&ole ex roommate took the liberty of throwing all his stuff out while he was at work because he refused to do what the fat hoebag wanted him to. (The price of having a mind of your own) So,, she intentionally killed his ferret and threw him out. Well,, this car was VERY roomy,, they were able to stuff everything he owned in it (Minus all the stuff her and her friends stole from him) along with his cat (Who she nearly killed) With all this stuff in there Pwyll was still able to drive the thing. Now THATS what I call space!

The body on the car is rusted out really bad, but for as old as the car is,, it's in decent shape. The car runs great. It can go for miles and miles and has great gas mileage to boot. The downfall of the Brit is,, the brakes are bad and the car can't be stopped.

With all the things wrong with it,, it's still a very durable vehicle. The car was purchased for 500 bucks from a friend of his ex-roommate. This was Pwylls first car.

This car gave Pwyll months of enjoyment. But, as all good things must end,, so does the life of the legendary "Brit"

When asked if he would ever buy another Omni? Pwylls reply was "In a heartbeat!" Since I too owned an Omni like this one,, I have to agree with him on that one. I'd like to own another one. Why? Because they're fun to drive, have good pick up and are very durable. They hold the road good even though they tend to be a bit noisy. The exhaust noise is a bit on the loud side as most smaller cars are, but it's tolerable. They're also excellent on gas!
