Pros: decient gas mileage
Cons: completely unreliable
To be honest, I don?t even know where to begin on this worthless excuse for a vehicle. This car has put he through more hell than any person should tolerate! I bought the car used. It had just had a new engine dropped in it, so I thought that I was getting a really great deal. It ran well and looked great. Well, within the first 2 weeks of owning this vehicle, the engine blew up. Some thing that was completely not my fault. I checked my oil faithfully every other day to make sure that there were no problems. Then, one day, bam, I find myself stranded on the side of the highway, late for my first day of work at a new job. Not a very good impression to make. From then on, it?s just gone downhill. I bough the car during my senior year in high school, and during that year, that car was in the shop 3 days a week. I will attribute some of the problems to the mechanics that were working on it, but I really felt like I had no choice but to take it there, because they were the only dealership that would give me a loaner car. Everything that could possibly go wrong with the Cavalier has. I now live in New York, and don?t need a car, so my lucky younger sister has the pleasure of driving it now. Just two months ago, another engine was dropped into in, now making the grand total of four. Of course, it was covered under a warranty. My dad has this idea that eventually the Cavalier will run well if he puts enough money into it. And, oddly enough, seems to run pretty efficiently when I?m not driving it. Sure, it still breaks down and is a headache, but as soon as I come home, it starts to act up. I don?t even have to be driving it when the problems start. It must be a curse. It?s not a car, it?s Christine.
