The thing about DAytonas is that Chrysler is known ALLOT for thier inconsistancy on thier K-car based automobiles, if you get a good one, they last for forever, but if you get a bad one your just digging yourself a hole, but if you can find a good one they are worth your money I own a Daytona Shelby Turbo with 225,650 miles on it, I bought it with 125K, all original, the only repairs have been the usual maintenance of tires, oil, etc... even the clutch is original. But like i sated ealier Daytonas like other K-car based automobiles are inconsistant on thier reliability, every Daytona is different, and you take a risk when you buy one, I must admit though the fact that the turbocharged 4cyl. has lasted this long is a wonder when any car is concerned, and the clutch for that matter as well, i would suggest to anyone that is looking for a daytona that will last a long time to go with the normaly aspirated 2.5L 4cyl. and a 5-speed to get decent power out of it, its not anywhere near a firebreather but the engine is very solid and will last a long time
