I could not possibly say enough BAD things about this car! It is like a ticking time bomb! I bought this car a few years ago and it has been nothing but trouble! First the Radiator...Then the Alternator...the Battery...The tires splitting...The trunk not opening (Only when it wanted to)...Leaky windows...broken doors...(And this car has NEVER been in an accident!) This car rides rough and when you hit potholes...believe me...you can FEEL it! It shakes and rattles...even with an alignment...and it feels as if the steering wheel is about to jerk the other way when you are driving (And that was right after an alignment!) I just personally do not like the 1990 Cavaliers but maybe it's just me. I know not all 1990 Chevy Cavaliers are the same and I'm sure that a lot of them run great. I think mine was just a lemon to begin with...maybe that's why the guy sold it to me :(

I personally would not recommend an older cavalier to anyone. Some people say they make good first cars for young drivers...I say stick to something else...like an escort.
